Description

Derek and Kayleen is resting for a few days in a small town when Derek's not so all time favourite Estevan comes along.
Kayleen is happy to see him and he tells her about a black man carrying a hurt child which he saw on the road not far from town. The man had hidden himself and the child before Estevan was able to talk to them.
Kayleen, instantly worried for the child, begs Estevan to take her to the man and the child, wanting to help. Together they leave to help the child and the man.
Derek stays in town. Feeling pissed of seemingly out of nowhere, he starts a drinking binge.

This is how Kayleen later finds him in a alleyway near the hotel. She tries to help him up but he's being difficult, slurring and saying things about himself and her.
In the end she's able to help him to the hotel and he sleeps for 16 hours. When he wakes up he hardly remembers anything.

Haha, so, god, this was an experiment gone wrong xD I have no idea what I was doing. Trying to create mood and dark shit while panicking internally (over an exam I have on monday) and being lazy is not to recommend xD
And how do I anatomy and perspective? xDDD

I will perhaps recolor this haha xD And for certain draw some other pictures from this scene haha xD Crazy drunk Derek is fun xD

This title made me snort coffee. I'm interested in your novel and I really like your artwork.

I'm doing the same thing, actually, only I'm hiring other people to do my artwork for me.

Is it or excerpts available anywhere yet?

The reason I ask is because I'm just very interested in other people writing westerns. There does not appear to be all that many of us. It's a tough genre to market.

Anyways, good luck, and good job on the artwork!
