Well, would you know, I have more characters than Kayleen and Derek! 8U
These are just very quick skecthes and for the most part just some tries to get the major looks of the characters down. When drawing them more serious, they'll look less cartoony lol. I am indecisive when it comes to names, so many of these have wip-names haha.

(from left to right)
1. Ayanah with Nero (his wip-name), a member of Kastor's gang. He's the right hand of Kastor and he's in love with Ayaan. He has no idea she's playing for the other team. But she does care about him. The spots on his skin is from his vitiligo.

2. KAYLEEN'S PARENTS! Her mother Eliza and father Charles. They were quite adventurous in their short life (I could probably fill a book about them too. But lets focus on the main one lol).

3. Dr (Carl)Evans, redesigned once again! He has a fancy beard now. It suits him.
4. Mrs Evans! She's a teacher, gentle and kind, but firm when it's needed.
5. Little Anne, mr Evans and Mrs Evans youngest daughther. She's a little storm of emotions and has a big sweet tooth (to Kayleen's dismay)

6. Mr Wilson, the main merchant in Kayleen's town. He took over her fathers store when he died and won't let Kayleen forget it. He also doesn't like Kayleen working with mr Evans at the clinic but can't openly declare it anymore, so he does it through emotional abuse.

7. Bella/Pedro and badass "Widow". Bella's birth name was Pedro but after loosing her parents, she ended up with Widow and said her names was Bella. The only clothes Widow had for her was dresses and Bella didn't mind, but when it's was time to get other clothes, it ended up with new dresses. Bella and Widow live together in a remote cottage and god forbid if anyone messes with Bella. Widow sees her as the child she lost.

8. "Ginger", Kastor's little brother. He was born with a big tumor on his upperlip/part of his cheek that made it hard for him to speak, along with other complications from his birth. Their parents didn't care for him properly but Kastor did everything to help him. He's a bit slow but very kind. Though he looks up to Kastor and wants to be just like him, which unfortunately make him a bit unpredictable when angry. He was killed during a raid together with Kastor.

9. "Zongying", Kastor's left hand. This very much a first sketch of her, since has a very specific appearance that I have yet to capture. From day to day she either dresses as woman or as a man and she has a male names she goes after when dressing as man. She uses this fluidity to scout for Kastor and collect information for him. she's an excellent fighter and absolutely ruthless.

10. Dr Harper. Once upon a time he was quite a decent doctor but then his alcoholism took over and made him lose his skills and senses. He lives on old merits and have high thoughts about himself as a facade. He's a pain in the ass to Derek and quite the hurdle to Kayleen.

11. Neil Young, the newly wed husband of Jane Evans (the oldest of the Evans daughters). He survived the civil war and proposed to Jane as soon as he came home.

12. Olivia Sullivan. DUN DUN. She's Derek's wife. As a child she was very sickly and it stuck with her through out of her life. She caught Derek's eye and when he returned from his quest of making money and travel, they married. In the beginning it was a happy marriage but after a while her health were all over the place, she didn't get the child she wanted, situations she didn't agree with happened, her insecurities took over and she dies two years later.

13. Oh yeah, can you tell this is a creep?? XD His name is Ed Burlow and he's the hotel owner of the hotel Kayleen stays at during Derek's recovery. He hides his creepiness behind curtsies and at first Kayleen doesn't notice but at the end of her stay, even she can tell.

14. Ah, Joseph. This sketch is so ugly of him but meh. He's an ex-bounty hunter and now keeps a rowdy bar. He acts as a go-to informer for Derek. He has much badassness locked inside of him. I love his broken nose hehe.
